The Impérial blends combine the prominence of the world's leading grape varieties with the autochthonous finesse and flavor fullness of leading varieties of Burgenland. Impérial weiss presents itself as a pleasant accompaniment to meals, but also promises solo enjoyment | we recommend decanting.

Tasting Notes

expressive Sauvignon Blanc nose, yellow fruits, quince, cassis, a bit fresh hay, floral; on the palate young and playful with a clear texture, well integrated oak, subtle buttery Chardonnay, creamy delightful, complex and multilayered in its minerality; good length, ideal food companion

Vinification

harvest by hand, grape selection, cold maceration, natural fermentation of the Chardonnay in oak barrels, temperature-controlled fermentation of Sauvignon Blanc with selected yeasts in stainless steel tanks, assemblage after 9 months.
